For three months now, GCW has proven that there is nothing quite like a GCW Pay-Per-View.  And June’s spectacular show was no different.  Dangerous Games came from the sold out Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri, home of our very own Commissioner, Mr. Danger.  It was a memorable night.  But in case you missed it, here’s a brief overview.

Zippy’s obsession with Tom and Jerry seemed to coincide with his desire for the Television title.  This obsession led him straight to Capo, the title holder.  In a brutal yet unorthodox battle, Zippy, fueled by Stone’s motivation, took home the gold he wanted for so long.  Capo was a great TV champion. . . But the title should get a bit more interesting now that the bizarre Zippy holds it.

Assassin One and Mikado took on all comers as Tag Team champions, even defeating the incredible tandem of the Wallstreet Hustlers for their belts.  They became one of the most dominant tag teams ever in the industry.  Then the Real Deal began knocking at their door.  In a physical bout, The Real Deal, Dan Rivero and Chris Van Burren, managed to defeat the assassins and take home the gold.

The CWU struck a raw nerve in GCW ever since their arrival.  Trash and Shadowedge represented the CWU in the ring at Dangerous Games, taking on two of GCW’s best, John Reed and Toxic.  They proved their ability, but in the end, Trash’s unexpected turn on the CWU led Reed and Toxic to victory.

Shane Lane and Luke Hanson have proved to be two of the hottest up and comers in the sport.  In a hotly contested bout, Hanson managed to defeat Lane on the strength of Genryu’s mistake.  Hanson walked out with the title, but this feud is long from over.

Chris Jordan, Canadian Cruiserweight Champion, perhaps didn’t know what he was getting himself into.  Toad showed Jordan the meaning of Hard*core in a brutal flag match.  However, Toad’s long time rival and newcomer Dimensioner assaulted Toad, allowing Jordan to steal the Hard*core title from Toad.  Jordan is the first man in GCW to hold two singles titles at once.

Then came the much-anticipated Battle Royal for the number one contendership.  Many men had an opportunity to walk out the winner, but in the end, Shane Lane went an incredible seventy four minutes to become number one contender to the world title.  Below is a list of entries.

  1. Chameleon               16.   LeStatt Knight
  2. Mikado                    17.   Trash
  3. Jake Jennings           18.   Dan Rivero
  4. Shane Lane             19.   Assassin One
  5. Capo                      20.   Luke Hanson
  6. Andrew Hawk           21.   Dimensioner
  7. John Reed               22.   Chris Van Burren
  8. Zippy                      23.   Toxic

  15. Dream                     30.   President Caldera

The main event then took place, and an intricate plan was revealed.  Mr. Danger’s apparent defection proved to be a fabrication of President Caldera and the Jhub, simply to turn Rollins against Danger long enough for the Jhub to take the title.  The plan worked out, and Rollins was screwed by the Establishment.
