The next day, in a promo, Thirteen burned the belt.
Shortly after he quit. I
didn’t write things exactly his way, so he quit.
Thirteen could have been world champion by now, but he had no patience.
People should learn from that. Anyway,
that night Octavian became the first GCW champion, and my pet project finally
reached the top. I was happy that
he had made it that far. But I will
admit it was a stretch when Octavian beat Thirteen fair and square that night. Either way, Octavian was at the top.
Then Rollins came back. So
did Khan. And Octavian was in
trouble. Khan had helped Octavian
win the belt, then attacked him. Khan
wanted the belt, but he wanted to beat Octy for it.
So the two guys I had seen going for the title in the first place
returned, and a triple threat iron man match was the result.
It was a challenge to write, but a lot of fun.
About halfway through its writing, however, half of it was deleted, and I
almost gave up. But I finished it
up the day before it went up, and it was a crowning achievement in my writing
career. Rollins finally won the
gold that night, as once again Khan had computer trouble. The once dominant warrior Khan had been brought down not by
the Jhub, but by his own lack of hardware.
You all know the rest. I
have been in e-wrestling now for eight months, from late October 2000 when I
started with the ACWF, to now. I
have improved myself more than anyone, and now feel that I run one of, if not
the, best feds out there. Mr.
Danger made his return to e-wrestling under his former world champion. He’s helped quite a bit.
The future? Where do we go
from here? Well, I have finally
figured out the secret to being on top on FWLnet.
An invisible frame. We use
it, so does PCW, and all the others on the top.
I vowed never to do such a thing, but in retrospect, without it we’re
just another name on the big list on FWL. We’ve
moved up a ways, and I think it’s the right move.
I see us in the top five within two months.
But I never want to lose the essence of the friendly atmosphere that
I’ve always maintained. I never
want to become a PCW, with a sixty man roster.
Because I simply can’t handle that.
Neither can Danger. Neither
can PCW for that matter. I want the
look of a big fed, but the feel and atmosphere of a small fed.
Either way, GCW will always be fun, and will always be the best.
Until Father time kills off President Caldera, and sends him to Ohio State University. Or the Culinary Institute of America. Or Bob’s Upstairs Medical School above my local bowling alley. Either way, I’ll have to leave sometime. But for now, President Caldera is alive and well. . . And there’s nothing you can do about it.
