Five
men. Hired by President Caldera. Trash, Shadowedge, Impact
Dimensioner and "The Ringmaster" Matt Bish.
The Cyber Wrestling Union (CWU) sadly announced in the latter part of May, that it was closing it's doors. Steven Caldera, former CWU Commissioner, via press conference. Steven quickly found a phone, or in other words reached into his pocket, and called Nathan Krotzer. Caldera asked Nathan if there was anything he could do. The response that followed was something Steven wasn't expecting. "Hire some of my guys." is what Nathan uttered over the phone. Steven became dumbfounded at the sound of these words. He had had his eye on a few talents from the CWU. He already had good talent in Khan, Octavian, Rich Rollins, The Jhub and John Reed along with many others, but these wrestlers from the CWU were something else.
Of the former CWU roster, only five signed Global Championship Wrestling (GCW) contracts. They were eager to get back into the squared circle, but Steven had a plan. He held the contracts in the confines of nothing other than his infamous brown envelope.
These documents were concealed and hidden from the knowledge of anyone else for two weeks. With the knowledge that he had five men that could provide back-up on command, President Caldera put himself and a former and first time GCW World Champion Octavian, into a steel cage match. Octavian gave Caldera what he deserved for most of the match. That is until five former CWU employees came sprinting down a flight of stairs and into the ring.
The CWU had done there job, putting Octavian out of action. But one thing Steven, the CWU and even Octavian hadn't thought of, was someone coming out to help Octavian. Though this man was soon also laying motionless and unconscious in the ring, John Reed came sprinting out. He took the attackers intentions away from Octavian, knowing that if nothing was done, The Italian Stallion's neck would have certainly, been snapped into two pieces.
Sadly, Matt Bish was fired a week after his debut for refusing to appear at a couple of personal appearances booked by Commissioner Danger. Both Shadowedge and Trash have just finished feuds with John Reed. Trash turned on Shadowedge and all of the former CWU Stars at GCW's last Pay-Per-View, Dangerous Games. Impact and Dimensioner both appeared at Dangerous Games, Dimensioner appearing to the extent of costing Toad his Hard*Core Title. Look for Wrestler Spotlights about these men in the rest of the GCW Magazine.
