I then began my creative plans. As
the only staff member, I had it all to myself.
My original plans saw a world title tournament at the first PPV five
weeks after the opening of GCW. And
I saw a Khan vs. Rich Rollins main event, with Khan walking out with the gold.
Naturally, it was just a broad plan, but my ultimate goal.
Khan had become my bodyguard in the CWU, and his battles with Jhub were
famous. No man has had his ass
kicked more than the Jhub did from Khan. I
enjoyed writing it. Khan was good,
and I enjoyed seeing my friend get decimated.
Good times.
Rich Rollins was always good, and though he had been very loyal to
Nathan, came with me to GCW anyway. These
two were the guys who were going to headline my new company. Until Khan’s computer died on him, and Rich Rollins signed
up for the school play. Within two
days, my plans fell apart. Neither
would be in the tournament, and I had to find plan B.
Plan B was Octavian.
This guy had improved more than anyone I’d ever seen.
He had been my pet project, ever since I recruited him into the CWU.
He had been the Rock in the ACWF, and he hadn’t been very good in all
honesty. But with some work and a
willing attitude, Octavian shot up the ranks.
He was good. And he would
make a good plan B. So at the first
Meltdown, Octavian (with some help) took out Khan, and aligned with President
Caldera. The following week, the
Establishment was born.
System-X was a name the Jhub and I had come up with shortly before the
CWU moved. The Jhub at the time was
an ally of mine, but when he offered Toad a spot in his new System, Caldera went
crazy and kicked the Jhub out. This
left Khan vs. the Jhub as a big time feud.
Now, the System was still alive and well in GCW, though it only had Jhub
and Toad in it. Jhub and Toad
carried on against the Establishment. And
it left me with a potential Jhub vs. Octavian world title tournament final at
the PPV.
Then Thirteen showed up. This guy was good. The only character I know that was mute, but still roleplayed better than most. I was impressed by him, and gave him a push. But he didn’t like the way it went, and let me know about it. But I ended up putting him over Toxic in the tournament (beating Toxic isn’t easy) and gave him the US title.
